FIXING BROKEN PEOPLE ONE PERSON AT A TIME – GOAL R65 000

R0 of R65,000 raised

Everyone has a purpose on this planet and I know that my purpose is to make a profound, positive and lasting difference in the lives of people. I am a qualified and certified Hypnosis practitioner and Life Coach. I am also a graduate from the University of South Africa for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Science.

If each and every one of us can make a positive difference and influence in our own life, the lives of our immediate family and friends, it will automatically have a ripple effect to every human interaction we have either directly or indirectly.

Why do I do what I do? I get immense happiness from clients that I have treated that show a positive behaviour and habit change, that are able to live happier lives because of overcoming a problem, challenge and issue they were struggling with. When their family members i.e. their partners and children send me messages to thank me for saving their family and helping them make their lives better. This is what drives me to do what I do because I believe in paying it forward, making a positive difference in the lives of people and being part of each person’s personal growth and transformation.

Pro-bono services are provided for people and families that are unable to pay for services regarding therapy, trauma counseling, depression and many more. Every person, business and entity needs to be involved in society and the community at large to work towards the common good of the people.

I have been working full-time over the years for large companies in different industries, either by selling or marketing their products but this did not make me happy because I was not making a difference in the lives of people in a meaningful and positive way. That is when I decided to take our family savings and take out a loan to get my practice up and running. I took a plunge and have risked our livelihood for what I still strongly believe in because I have seen the results, changes, improvements, growth, and transformation in the lives of the people and families that I have worked with.

CHOIR TOUR FUNDS – GOAL R 59 999

R0 of R59,999 raised

Hi there,

I’m a student and a part of my university choir that will be participating in choir festivals in December in Europe.

The Funds will be used for my plane ticket, traveling documentation and accommodation.

I have been singing in the NWU PUK-Choir for four years now, and I will not be allowed to be a part of this group if I can’t join them on tour. It’s my last year in the Choir and it would be amazing to end off my choir experience with an overseas tour.

I will be grateful if you help me to get to the goal. Thank you so much for reading this message.

Have a lovely day.

GET KUDZAISHE BACK ON HIS FEET – GOAL R20 000

R0 of R20,000 raised

I am Kudzaishe Ranganai a Zimbabwean student studying in South Africa and  On Saturday 30 March at 3 am I was walking back to my residence and 3 men approached me from behind,  one of the guys strangled me until I passed out and the other one pepper sprayed me. When I woke up disoriented from the spray and having been strangled, I realised that my phone and wallet had been stolen. Going through that experience was traumatizing but most of all losing that phone has been a big blow as I was using it to take videos and pictures to create content so I can build my brand. Any donations will be greatly appreciated as they will help me be able to buy a new phone to film my videos and take pictures once again. This would make me very happy :).Thank you for your love and support. God bless you all

LAWYERS YOU’LL SWEAR BY. NOT AT. – GOAL R 5000

It sounds cliche but the main reason I want to become an attorney is to help people. I feel that being an attorney will give me the necessary background and degree to reach out to people who need help. Law seemed to be a good fit and is a fascinating field of study. Positive impacts can be made on a daily basis by lawyers. I took a bit of a leap of faith as I have left my full-time job to pursue my studies. Please help me be great and finish my studies and become a great lawyer for those in need one day.

HELP SAVE 4 YEAR OLD ERIC – GOAL R 200 000

R58,650 of R200,000 raised

Eric is always full of light, laughter and energy. This is how the world knows him.

On Saturday evening, 29 June, that’s when all things changed when Eric-Charles went into septic shock and stopped breathing. He was rushed through to Union Hospital where they resuscitated him, later that evening he was transferred to Netcare Clinton Hospital PICU and he has been fighting ever since.

On Sunday he went into tachycardia 5 times. The septicaemia is so far suspected to be caused by acute pneumonia and necrotic lymph nodes. A lumber puncture is under talks to survey for meningitis. So far little Eric is still in an induced coma and on full life support.

Of course with all this comes many bills, the cost of Eric’s bed, his medication, testings’ and countless doctors’ bills. It is critical that Eric stays in Clinton PICU as he will not even survive a transfer.

Please find it in your heart to help us, help Eric live the many years that are still awaiting him.

Thanking you in advance for your generosity and support.

DOMESTIC WORKER VICIOUSLY ATTACKED BY A PACK OF 5 DOGS – GOAL R50 000

R36,740 of R50,000 raised

On the morning of the 25th of March, This precious human being Miss Prudence Khuzwayo was on her way to her place of work when she was viciously attacked and mauled by a pack of 5 dogs. She has sustained severe injuries and is in a great deal of pain, the injuries are mostly to the back of her legs and arms but she has puncture wounds on the back of her neck as well. She was treated at a government hospital and a few hours later, she was sent home. We have managed to get her admitted into a public hospital where she is currently at. She has suffered severe trauma from this whole ordeal and tells me that she is scared to sleep as the whole thing happens all over again in her dreams. Prudi is the soul bread winner in her household at the moment, staying in her two bedroom government home is herself, her two elderly parents, her 2 grown up daughters and her 2 year old grandson. Prudence has an extremely long road to recovery and these funds will make her load a little or a lot lighter, the funds will aid in doctors check ups, medication, medical supplies and if we absolutely need to an emergency treatment for theatre for sepsis. The family is extremely grateful for any help and every little donation helps us reach her target. There is no one more deserving than this precious woman. She deserves the best medical treatment and care. Thank you for your love and support xx

ZOÉ LIFE AFTER RAPE – GOAL R 150 000

R62,405 of R150,000 raised

ZOÉ LIFE AFTER RAPE – GOAL R 150 000

R62,405 of R150,000 raised

Zoë was raped 93 times from the age of 4 up until she was 18 years old. This does not include the number of times that she was molested and otherwise sexually assaulted. 77 of these time were at the hands of her own father. He passed away in 2017 and only a year later Zoe mustered the courage and started sharing her story. She was terrified of him and what he might have done to her if she would have told anyone. Unfortunately, this type of extensive and deep trauma is so life- and mind shattering that the process to restoration is a very long and costly one.

No human being deserves a lifetime of physical, emotional and sexual abuse, but unfortunately my wife received exactly this.

Diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, Persistent Depressive Disorder and complex post-traumatic stress disorder, she has only ever known death. After 25 years of silence about everything she had been through, she has finally found a voice and is on a journey to find life. But she can’t do this alone. We need your help.

Unfortunately, as a result of the many years of intense abuse, the treatment she has received (numerous stays at various psychiatric hospitals, a ton of medication, and much more) has not been comprehensive enough to help her recover from the deep trauma she suffers from. THE LIFE FUND has been put in place to help generate funds for all the treatments and procedures she so desperately needs.

Zoe was first hospitalized after a suicide attempt in June 2017, after which her life continued to fall apart until her second admission in January 2018. She had developed an eating disorder and serious self-harm problems. There have been countless incidents where I have had to take (sometimes rush) Zoe to hospital for stitches. She had to undergo reconstructive surgery due to a critical self-inflicted wound after which she got admitted to a government hospital in Johannesburg for two months. Her time spent there was very helpful, but it was just not enough.

Zoë was referred to an outpatient program and there she underwent her second reconstructive surgery that year. Her life continued spiralling out of control and after a complete psychotic break in early 2019, she was admitted again to a psychiatric clinic, where she currently remains. Unfortunately, her medical aid only covers 21 days of psychiatric hospitalization. After these 21 days are over, her treating team wishes to send her to a rehabilitation centre, of which her medical aid will also only cover 21 days. This is where your help comes in! Zoë’s treating team have worked out a plan to help give her the time and resources she needs to finish her recovery and find true physical, mental and emotional healing in her life; something she has never had before.

We are aiming to raise at least R150 000 to cover the costs of the next years’ worth of treatment for Zoe.

This will cover:

– The cost of the days spent at institutions not covered by her medical aid

– The allowance she needs to stay at institutions not paid by medical aid

– Her stay at a Halfway House

– The costs of her daily needs (toiletries, bedding, snacks etc.)

– Her medical aid for the time she spends in treatment

– Traveling costs to the various treatment centres

– The debt that her mental illness has left her with

Zoë never asked for or deserved a lifetime of physical, emotional and sexual abuse, but fortunately you have the ability to help fund the healing process, to help give Zoë the life she could never have before.

Thanking you in advance for your generosity and support.

HELP SAVE BABY BRAYDEN – GOAL R500 000

HELP SAVE BABY BRAYDEN – GOAL R500 000

R26,820 of R500,000 raised

My nephew, baby Brayden, was admitted into the hospital on Friday, 8 June 2018. From a happy, smiling baby to sick in a matter of seconds. Brayden was eating on Friday night when he had a fit. He stopped breathing and Harry, his dad, and my sister, his mom, Kaylee, had to do CPR until the ambulance arrived. This in itself is already a very traumatic experience for any parent.

Brayden was admitted into Wilgeheuwel Hospital in Roodepoort where doctors fought to get him stable and breathing properly on his own. They found bleeding in his brain. As if this is not bad enough, his mom and dad, struggling new parents can’t afford a medical aid. With the help of family members, a deposit was put down to admit him to private care. The bills are, however stacking up as we are not sure when Brayden will wake up, and when the bleeding on his brain will subside. Further testing will also have to be done to see if any brain damage has occurred and to test what caused the seizure in the first place. Without proper funding, he will have to be transferred to a state hospital where there will not be a lot of hope for baby Brayden.

We beg and plead for any donations, as we just want our happy baby Brayden healthy and smiling again. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated.

Thanking you in advance for your contributions.

HOLLYN’S HEART MATTERS – GOAL R 400 000

HOLLYN’S HEART MATTERS – GOAL R 400 000

R27,400 of R400,000 raised

Without even realizing that our happiness could be short-lived, we started making innumerable plans for welcoming our princess into the world when we found out we were expecting…

When Hollyn was born, 16 February 2019, the doctors ran tests for down syndrome and hypoglycemia. Just when we were coping with this news, numerous tests confirmed that she has AVSD (Atrioventricular Septic Defect), this is a heart defect and baby Hollyn has 2 holes in her heart, both 7mm wide each and her little heart is leaking as well.

The sad reality is that this little princess will need to have an operation done before she turns 6 months old or she will not make it, in a few months she might also have cardiac failure. She has been placed on a waiting list at a hospital for this operation,  however,  there are only 2 surgeons performing this operation (government), and they only operate twice a week. We have been told that there are over 400 babies needing the same operation and chances are Hollyn might not make it in time.

We are looking at going private for this much needed operation but it will cost roughly R400 000.

We are appealing to family, friends and the general public to assist us in raising funds. We are setting up trust funds as well and are praying for a positive outcome.

If you, or anyone you know, are willing and able to assist, no matter how big or small, it will be dearly appreciated.

Thank you all in advance, God bless you.
