Arise Virtuous Women’ s ministry is a faith-based organization that I have set up to bring together women from various backgrounds for the purpose of counselling, empowering, teaching and praying together.
Many of these women are victims of abuse of every kind and rejection with no-where to go and no one to help them. I have encountered many young women who were sexually abused in their homes by those who were meant to protect them and those who are battered every day in their homes and suffering in silence because the victimizers make them believe that everything is their fault.
Having found the task of meeting these women overwhelming in terms of balancing between going to work and being there for my own family. I have decided to start workshops and conferences where everyone can come together for fellowship, prayers and counselling also empowering others and finding a sense of belonging with other fellow women and communities, making impact for the upcoming generation.
