Manilo a 33yr old, and great Tenor suffered a major stroke and haemorrhage in May 2016, and 23 months later he is still in a comatose state. His wife is unable to afford the exorbitant costs of home care and has to work in order to support herself and her daughter of 4yrs.
Manilo needs 24hour palliative care, with 4 nurses on a shift as well as professional nursing when the need arises. The current cost to have him home is R18 000 a month without medication, feeding and everyday needs.
I am therefore reaching out to you to support her in this mammoth task.
