About two years ago I had the unfortunate experience of having a deep vein thrombosis (blood clot) and had to go to a vascular specialist for a stent insertion. For the surgery to take place, I had to agree with my medical aid to pay half of the fees.
The hospital in which the procedure took place was not part of my medical aid scheme. I have been paying as much as can, and would greatly appreciate any assistance in helping cover the remainder.
