Dear potential donors
My name is Sibonokuhle Antony Thwala, and I am a talented athlete and a dedicated student.
Throughout my young career, I have accomplished many achievements, such as placing 3rd in the 2km ASA at Potchefstroom in 2013, 4th in the SASA in 1200m at Pretoria in 2014, and winning the schools ASA at P.E track and field 1500m steeplechase in 2019. I am also proud to have been ranked 5th in ASA in the 1500m in 2021 under 17.
My goal is to continue pursuing my athletic and academic aspirations in the United States, where I have obtained a full athletic scholarship to further my studies at Northwest Kansas Technical College. I am passionate about becoming a great athlete and excelling in my studies, and I believe that with the right support, I can achieve even greater things in the USA.
I am reaching out to you today in the hopes that you can assist me in making my dreams a reality. With your financial assistance, I can pursue my goals and become a successful athlete and student. While I have received an athletic scholarship, there are still expenses such as flight tickets, Visa, Sevis, and other related costs that I need assistance with.
My personal bests in the 1500m and 3000m events are 03:55 and 08:39, respectively. I am dedicated to working hard and making the most of any opportunities that come my way, and I believe that with the right training and support, I can improve these times even further.
