Sorry to say, I’m in a bit of a situation at the moment with very little income. A few months back, I thought I could possibly breed leopard geckos to make a bit of extra money. With the few females I’ve had for several years, I bought a male. I built a couple new enclosures out of a set of shelves and set up a makeshift incubator.
It’s actually going quite well, except for the fact that I’ve now run out of budget for them. I’m currently feeding them silkworms, which I also breed. The silkworms should be good for another month or so, after that I will need to buy some food for them. I can get a lot of super/meal worms fairly cheap, R350 for 1000 superworms, and R330 for 1kg of mealworms. With so many I should be able to breed these worms too.
