My name is Liam O’Brien, I am 23 years old and I decided to buy my 1st car, I purchased it, believing it was in good condition, the appearance and interior were clean, but not perfect. I knew it needed a little TLC, unfortunately, I have had the car for a week now and have found out the true extent of the damage to the vehicle. The engine only has a few more thousand km left before it gives up, there is rust damage under the carpets of the car, and now I don’t believe it is reliable enough for me to be able to get to college and back.
My parents do not have the money to help me fix the car, and I am unable to work for the next 10 weeks, as I am at college practical’s working in a hotel, which I do not get paid for. The money that I raise will go towards a new engine and gearbox for the car, and for me to get the rust fixed and sorted.
