As many of you know, I have been performing my community service year in Strydkraal, Limpopo. This large rural community has a great need for veterinary services but unfortunately my clinic is unable to provide such due to the lack of consumables, medication, and support. As someone who has studied many years to be in the position to help animals today, it is heartbreaking to turn people and their pets/ livestock away due to not having the necessary equipment and medication in order to assist them. If you are at all able to donate it will make a massive difference here in Strydkraal. Donations will be used to buy anesthetic medication, antibiotics, suture materials, drapes, sterilizing solutions, wound ointments, dogfood as well as vaccinations. All of this would enable me to sterilize dogs in the community as well as prevent and treat disease outbreaks in this area.
