My dearest and closest friend, is on a workers Visa in New Zealand.
Her birthday is coming up in December and I would love to make it special for her.
I am trying to raise funds to send her a gift.
I know she does not need anything. Her idea was to visit South Africa and have a big celebration with all of her family and friends. I know that for some people (including myself), it might not be very important, but to her it is (was.)
With the current border closures as a result of Covid, that celebration will not be happening. She is all alone there, and I want to post a gift for her 40th. She works on a dairy farm, and she will be working on her birthday (and Christmas day).
I reside in South Africa; Pretoria and I am unemployed currently. The pricing to send the parcel was much more than I anticipated for my current situation.
I would love to send her the handmade gift and some other things like books that I got her for her previous birthday (and perhaps something special too).
This will bring me (and hopefully her) tremendous joy. Thank you.
