The CPUT 3rd year, Product and Industrial Design legacy project, for 2018, is to design, manufacture and install a new wayfinding system.
Wayfinding is the concept of conveying information through systems, to help guide people through an area, and enhance their understanding of the environment. We have carefully considered things like colour, material, processes, textures and the effectiveness of the existing signage to develop signage that is coherent with our design department identity.
We are currently in the development and production phase and are in need of additional funding to complete this task.This project has been a test of our two dimensional and three-dimensional design abilities while developing our interpersonal and collaborative skills.
