Many of South African youths in disadvantaged communities are unable to enroll in a college for various reasons including but not limited to, not meeting educational pre-requisites or financial constraints. They are also facing difficulties finding employment.
This project aims to employ these youth and train them in web development and other web technologies. The training will be free and they will be offered an opportunity to practice these skills while working within our business. We hope this will help solve unemployment and reduce the risk of unemployed youth indulging in bad or dangerous social behaviour due to boredom and stress.
Cyber V (Pty) Ltd is a startup tech company currently offering Web development and Website hosting services. The company wishes to expand to be able to accommodate as many people in need of employment and skills training particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. The youth who will benefit from this programme do not have to meet any prerequisites and can be trained in coding with or without a high school matriculation for free while giving them an opportunity to experience the work environment and use their learnt skills in practical environments.
