I am 30 years old women with two children. I work part time as clerk due to lack of employment.
I am also studying part time (Bookkeeping) to accommodate working for myself and my children. I am married (10 years) to a very cruel and abusive man.
When the children were younger I kept thinking he will change and we will all be fine but now I can see it’s not going to happen. I have noticed that his physical, emotional and financial abuse is affecting me physiologically and the children as well. I just want to leave and its difficult financially.
I have managed to find a cheaper school for the children and a flat to live in close to the school and close to my work. If I can raise enough money to pay the deposit and rent for 1 month and also their school fees for 1 month so we can escape, then I will figure out the rest.
He currently controls my salary so if am able to run away with the children. I will get to change the bank I use and be able to look after my children and myself.
