CANCER CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
I cannot do it alone and I need help. I left my job and hometown to help my aunt to take care of my uncle that’s got cancer. First prostate, then bladder (his bladder was removed and his got a stoma now). The cancer spread to his bones now. He had radiation and is busy with chemotherapy.
His medical aid is exhausted and the expenses are piling up. He must still undergo 2 sessions of chemotherapy, then his six sessions are done, but there are still pharmacy bills and the stoma bag bills that needs to be paid every month. I cannot do it alone with the little money I get from working
2 or 3 days per week as a nurse.
My plea to everyone that reads this is to please think what if it was one of your family members? What will I do to help? I am making a plea to everyone who reads this, to please look deep inside your heart and if possible make a donation. I know that life is expensive and everyone has to turn around every penny they spend, but I’m on my knees every night asking for a miracle. I don’t know where to turn anymore.
Before the cancer my uncle weights a healthy 95 kg, I weight him Tuesday and his down to 70,4 kg. My uncle is getting weaker by the day, he can barely pick up his right leg at the moment and needs more care, which I am willing to give, but I need to work. This whole situation also puts huge stress on my aunt and I try and comfort her as much as I can, but I feel it’s not enough. Her health is also taking strain, but she puts it aside, because her husband needs the medical aid more than she does and she promised the day she married him – FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE. I take my hat off to her, but I need to look after her as well. I will not post pictures of my uncle, out of respect for him and his family, but rather about cancer and treatment thereof.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my story.
If you decide to donate, it will be great, otherwise I hope my story can help you or someone you know.
