CARPENTY AND CRAFT DESIGN – GOAL R30 000

I have woodwork and welding skill and have ideas of combining metal, wood and epoxy on my design which is not popular in my country but I’m struggling financially to get the raw materials and machines. I want to reintroduce real and solid wood to my surroundings.

I live in in the township and people have settled for cheap furniture which doesn’t last evening one year. Combining metal and wood will create strong joints on the furniture to avoid the screw from moving when it’s moved from one place to another, like the chip board that is used by the furniture suppliers in the township.

I also want to empower women as I’m a woman with the vision of encouraging other women to see that they can be as creating as any other human being. Not to be regarded as a woman, but as a human.
