Clayton approached his parents at the age of 8 to join a Football club after being introduced by his friends in the neighborhood. He joined North pine United u/9 team in 2013, halfway through the season, he went on to play every match he could get and received his first trophy for the Most Improved Player of the year in 2013.

Clayton grew a great passion for Football since he started and that progressed to him achieving:

2014 U10A Team – Top Goalscorer
2015 U11A Team – Player of the year
2016 U12A Team – Top Goalscorer

Between 2015-2016 Clayton kept himself active offseasons. In 2017 he decided to join the Durbanville FC, he then went out to play trials and got selected to be part of the DFC U13A Team. After that, they went on to be part of the Cape Town TFA Premier league and ended up 3rd on the log, where Clayton was awarded the Most Dedicated player of the year 2017. Soon after the season closed in October 2017 he was invited to trials at Football Academy Plus, where the trials included a 4 week period of evaluations.

He was accepted in two weeks and became part of the Football Academy within two weeks of evaluations. Clayton has a great passion for soccer off and on the field and has been selected to go play at the Dubai Super Cup in Dubai 2018.

Help us as his parents to make his dream come true and be part of his remarkable journey in going to Dubai to represent his community and the Football Academy.
