DREAM TO STUDY AVIATION/CABIN CREW – GOAL R40 000
When I was 13 years old my dad passed away, leaving my family with no money or a house to stay. Life became very difficult as my mum was only earning R3000 a month as a legal secretary, we lost the house and was forced to stay with people. I decide to start working part-time in a well-known butchery in Phoenix called Long Bury Meat Market. I worked there for 3 years until I finished my matric. Throughout my matric year, I was forced to study in order to help my mum at home.
We sometimes had no food to eat as the rent was too high and my mother had to keep the money for her traveling as well. I worked and help my mother with every cent I had. I developed a passion for the airline industry, and after much research a found that I was passionate about the industry, however, I was not able to study due to finances, I am now 28 years old supporting my family at home.
I sit back and watch people qualifying with degrees and diplomas and wish I was one of them. I don’t blame anyone for my situation, but my heart cries out to be a successful individual. I have sober habits, non-smoker or drinker. I started this fund to help me to start my studies in March at the Aviation College in Johannesburg. This is my last option to try and realise my dreams. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
