FOOD PANTRY FOR THE NEEDY COMMUNITY – GOAL R200 000
My name is Lungile and I’m a qualified social worker. Due to the high unemployment rate in our country I’m also one of the unemployed graduates. I’ve studied social work because I’m passionate about helping people. So I’ve decided to put my degree in use and start this project in my community.
There are many project that are in my heart but the pressing one is the food pantry, reason being I’ve seen people hungry and starved. That is why I’ve decided to start with the food pantry. I come from a small community in Pietermaritzburg where we all know each other. So since I have said that the rate of unemployment is very high so people are struggling to put food on a table.
