FUND A FARMER – GOAL R 1 500 000
This program is designed as an upliftment program for military veterans that served in the former defence force between 1966 and 1994. This is an opportunity for those veterans that have fallen on hard times to uplift themselves and become self-sustainable by farming and earning an income from the ground.
The size of the farm is over 2000 hectares, on which they are looking at housing over 200+families. Each family will have a 2.5 hectare plot to work and live on.
We have fallen on hard times since I lost my job last November. Currently we are unable to support ourselves. The bank has repossessed my car and we have been evicted from our home and living in a tent in my mother-in-law’s backyard.
At the age of 55 it is difficult to find a job. With this project we will be able to generate an income for ourselves in 4-6 months.
