FUND A FUTURE PHARMACIST – GOAL R12 000
My name is Amber and I’m 23 years old. I’m the eldest of three kids and my parents can’t afford to pay for my studies.
Growing up I’ve always wanted to make a difference in the community and I’ve always been passionate about quality health care as it is a basic right of each South African. I decided to pursue pharmacy after matric and was accepted at my dream university UWC. I wasn’t able to secure a bursary as I didn’t qualify for a bursary as I wasn’t needy enough. My parents helped pay for my studies where they could buy told me I need to get a part-time job. I got a job at McDonald’s, but I wasn’t able to keep up with the workload from the university. I decided to quit the job and focus on school.
I passed my first year with flying colours and was allowed to go to the second year with debt. When the second year came around the debt accumulated. By the time I was meant to progress to the third year the university wouldn’t allow me to progress unless I’ve paid what I owed for those outstanding years.
I’ve been working hard trying to pay the debt so I can go back to school. I really want to finish this degree and give back to the community. Please help me raise funds to pay the university so I can enroll in 2018 as a third-year student. Any donation will help.
Thanking you in advance
God bless
Struggling student
