FUTURE BUTLER – GOAL R50 000
My name is Nugent Pretorius, and I am 54 years of age and I’m living in George. I have been in the hospitality industry for more than 25 years, starting as a night porter and working my way up to become a restaurant manager.
I have applied at The South Africa Butler Academy to train as a butler in next year April.
The reason why I have chosen to become a butler, is to empower myself in order to empower young people after my training. I have this vision to start a training centre where I will train young people to become waitrons, bartenders, baristas. There are so many young people that don’t have the skills to do that, that is why I want to give back to the communities, but first I need to be trained in order to train them.
I am starting this crowd funding campaign in order to raise funds to attend the Butler academy.
Hereby I would like to ask for a small donation in order to reach my goal. The amount I’m trying to raise is R50.000
R35.000 for the 8th week course and R15000 for accommodation. I do realize that we are living in difficult times and most of us are still recovering from the pandemic. I do thank you in advance and for taking time off your busy schedule to look at my campaign. Any donation big or small will be appreciated.
