LAUNCH LULU’S TUTU’S – GOAL R 8 000
When I was a little girl, my mom was a seamstress. She taught me how to sew and it is something I have an absolute passion for.
My mom passed away from a heart attack in 2018 and I started my small business, Lulu’sTutu’s, in honour of her. I hand-make dress-up tutus, as well as swimming costume tutus that enable little girls to be ballerinas in the pool. I want to be able to get my business running on Etsy. In order to do that, I need start-up cash flow to be able to make some initial stock, as well as to advertise a bit.
I currently have a full-time job but am unable to use my salary to fund this business start-up as there simply isn’t enough disposable income to allow that. I currently make my tutus during the evening after work or over the weekend.
So much childhood magic has been lost in this world and I am hoping that my tutus will enable girls to feel like little princesses and bring some much-needed magic back into children’s lives. I am a mom to two wonderful girls and I want to be able to build a business that hopefully, they can carry on one day.
My ultimate dream would be to eventually have my own online store for my tutus, where people worldwide are able to order a LuluTutu.
Please help me make this dream a reality. Perhaps this business idea sounds crazy to some but getting this company off the ground would be life-changing for me, not only from a financial standpoint but from a sentimental point as well.
