MOTHER AND CHILD REUNION – GOAL R 30 000
My name is Kyleigh, In 2011 my two children Jordan (15) and Giselle (12) were travelling with a friend of my daughter’s, Ashley (12) to go on a holiday over the Easter weekend.
The driver was involved in an accident, both Giselle and Ashley died. The same year my husband’s business folded so Jordan went to relatives in England. We’ve never recovered financially; we’ve lost everything we’ve ever had.
My son is now 23 and still in England at university on a government grant. We haven’t seen each other in eight years and Jordan suffers from severe depression. I really need to see my child, hold him and talk to him, we’re a heartbroken mother and son who have no way of getting together.
My husband and I rent a room in a flat, we work from this room, making arts and crafts which we sell at markets, we’re living way below the minimum wage bracket and go without basic needs on a daily basis.
We’re looking for a return air ticket from England to Cape Town for a week in January 2020 as well as inexpensive accommodation for that time period.
If you find it in your heart to help us to see each other again, we’d be very grateful.
