OUTSTANDING TUITION FEES – R5 200

I am an unemployed, qualified teacher, who has completed her postgraduate certificate in education last year. I did both my undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of the Western Cape. Since I started at the University, I have always depended on NSFAS to pay for my fees, as my parents could not afford to pay for me.

I failed a major subject, which resulted in NSFAS not paying for that particular module, and after I graduated, I had an outstanding balance on my student account.

I have completed my PGCE, however, because of the outstanding balance, the University cannot give me my academic transcript, which makes everything hard for me as I’m job hunting and every school that I apply at requires the transcript. It’s been two full months since I finished my studies, and I have absolutely nothing to show for it. I am hopeless, unemployed and stressed.

I plead to anyone out there who could help me with my outstanding tuition, to please come forward.
