Liz had a heart attack at home, she was rushed to the nearest hospital, life hospital Fourways emergency ward was stabilized but because Liz not only didn’t have any medical cover, she also didn’t have any money to pay the private hospital fees.
The night shift doctor called all general hospitals for an ICU bed for Liz only to be told that there will not be an ICU bed any time soon. Liz’s daughter Mandy made a deposit of R50000 which is all the money she had in the world so that Liz could be admitted to ICU at life hospital Fourways.
After several tests it was discovered that Liz has three blood clots in her arteries and would need emergency procedure to remove the blood clots. The blood clots were removed over two procedures and two stets were put in the two main arteries. A few days later Liz was discharged and is now at home recovering.
Liz desperately needs the help and donations from all the amazing people out there. Liz has since been receiving massive hospital bills and letters of demand from life hospital Fourways while she has just been released and is supposed to be in a very long recovery.
Liz will need very expensive medication for life and will also need the assistance of a mobility scooter
Liz is a larger than life soul, has always been for the underdog
