SOCIO-ECONOMIC CAMPAIGN – GOAL R 650 000
My name is Andile Kulwana. I am in Fundraising and co-ordinating an entrepreneurship division at REALISTIC – (Rebuilding and Life Skills Centre). We are an NPO that was registered in 2004.
Our programmes deal with the issues of Recidivism of ex-inmates, their rehabilitation, reintegration and at-risk youth in the communities in and surrounding Gugulethu.
We offer Life skills Coaching programmes that take a duration of six months. We have now introduced an exit programme by offering our clients an opportunity to start their own small businesses. As part of our holistic approach that also includes job placements and further education opportunities.
In our 13 years in operation we have gained a good reputation and have secured good partnerships such as in the South African Governments Social Development Department.
We now seek Seed Funding to kick start the Entrepreneurship Division and hope our inclusion in this platform will aid us in accomplishing this goal.
