However, the harsh reality of unemployment in the region meant that their prospects of finding work were slim to none. But they refused to let their lack of employment opportunities hold them back.
These women were skilled in sewing, and they knew they could put their talent to good use. They decided to pool their resources and start a business creating unique, eco-friendly dog beds. With every stitch, they poured their hearts and souls into their work, driven by the hope of a better future for themselves and their families.
The women faced countless challenges along the way, from finding a place to work to sourcing materials and funding. But their determination never wavered. They knew that with the right support, they could turn their dreams into reality and create a successful business that would benefit not just themselves, but their entire community.
With your help, these women can rent sewing machines, purchase materials and earth-friendly stuffing, and cover the costs of transport and food. They are determined to succeed and make a better life for themselves and their families. And with every dog bed they sell, they indirectly support 40 people, from the suppliers of their materials to the families who benefit from their income.
