Jordan is a passionate and dedicated 17-year-old track athlete from South Africa that fell in love with the art of sprinting at the tender age of 6. He has a dream to study and compete in the US after graduating high school in December 2024.
He has shown tremendous promise in track and field and his commitment, hard work, and talent have led him to be selected as a member of his school’s track team from the age of seven, and he has represented his province on National level for the past five years. He has also ranked under the top 10 athletes in the country for the past four years.
He was recently accepted by a recruitment agency that will assist him with obtaining a Student Athlete Bursary to study and compete in the US. This opportunity not only represents a chance for personal growth and development but also a platform to showcase his skills at the highest level.
However, as much as Jordan is passionate about pursuing his athletic and academic dreams, the cost associated with him maintaining recruitment standards for university admission during his final year of high school, including track season costs, school expenses and recruitment agency fees, have become a challenge for our family to manage at this time.
These expenses cover essential items such as registration fees, travel costs, equipment, tutoring costs, coaching -, gym -, physical therapist – and academic -fees vital for his continued success both on the track and in the classroom.
