YEOVILLE CLEANUP CAMPAIGN – GOAL R300 000
PURPOSE
The status of Yeoville is in shambles. Yeoville is undesirable, it’s filthy, it’s full of crime, people are congested, and it has been a major concern for residing community members and investors. This has resulted in migration of big business institutions. Standard Bank, Absa, First National Bank left the area. Food outlets Nando’s, KFC left.
Yeoville Bellevue Development Agency was created to support and revitalize the community of Yeoville, we are involved in a wide range of community services such as education, job training, healthcare, commercial development, and other social programs.
OBJECTIVES
Our main Objective is to improve the lives of residents, we highly believe that when community development is effective, there is less crime, less disparity between citizens, better job availability, and more talent workforce, and less overall issues that impact residents.
We urge communities to come together and amid their differences to solve the complex challenges that affect us all.
Unemployment is high, we have 54 volunteers, men and women, who dedicated themselves to keeping the streets clean and safe.
We would like to raise money to assist our volunteers with stipends, workmen wear, safety shoes and reflectors.
