Little Donovan Barnard came into this world on the 26th of June 2018. This little angel was born with a cleft bilateral (cleft lip) and split palate. He underwent surgery to have his little lip fixed. Sadly his parents don’t have medical aid and the surgery has depleted all their funds. He has to undergo more surgeries to have his palate fixed. In the meantime, another problem arose. He was recently diagnosed by the Phonak Ear Institute with conductive hearing loss as he was also born without a tympanic membrane (eardrum) and will have to get a cochlear implant and hearing aids. We would like to start a fundraiser to help his parents pay for the medical bills and get Donovan the surgeries he needs as well as the hearing aids.
