Hi,
Most of you know me as Jason, I’m a 27-year-old dude from Pretoria South Africa, turning 28 this year. Most will know me as a drummer and musician. The biggest reason I’m starting this campaign is to raise funds towards a new Drum Kit, as some of the people close to me know, I sold my drums a couple of years ago because of personal feelings and lost a passion for playing.
After I left my band Rest for the Wicked in 2015. I lost the will to continue playing and lost all 4 my endorsement deals along with it. I was very shattered after everything that happened, I was still the head drummer at my Church but even lost the will to play in mid-2018, and left the Church band behind. I was lost and confused, and on 5 February 2019 Jesus came and washed my heart clean and changed my life completely and went back to my Church and continued to play, 2 years ago between my confusion God put it very hard on my heart to start a band playing Genre music like Jesus Culture and Bethel Music. Now it’s even more on my heart to start this band and go on an outreach and spread the Gospel to so many that need it, currently I’m sitting in a situation that Ican’t afford a drum kit and live out my dream behind the kit outside with my brothers and sisters and give praise to Jesus.
So I want to come and ask for donations towards a new drum kit, any donations will be used towards a drum kit, cymbals, and hardware that’s needed to complete the set. All donations will be deeply appreciated, and I will soon be uploading videos again on my YouTube channel from clips at Church or outreaches we do. There is also a Facebook page going at the moment called Liberating Truths and the band will be part of this outreach organisation called Liberating Truths Worship.
