My name is Eagan Roux,
Better known as Iggy at Afrikaans Seuns Hoër aka Affies. I am not your average 16-year-old. I am bold, brave, laugh A LOT and I choose to squeeze the absolute maximum out of everyday opportunities.
When natural sport talents were handed out, I was blessed beyond measure. Athletics, cricket but specifically rugby is the sport I live for.
On the 10th of June at 12:30, my phone beeped. My rib cage started expanding as my heartbeat uncontrollably in my chest. Out of 25 000 boys who trialed for Gauteng rugby, they chose ME!
My family is my top fan (when it comes to sport, but also life in general). As times are financially tough now, they bend beyond backwards to ensure that I can excel at what I love. Unfortunately, being this blessed with an array of talents, comes with a substantial price tag. The expense list for this specific Blue Bull rugby tour is a long one.
My wish is to raise money to enable myself to honour the One who blessed me with amazing talents, have positive influences on those on the tour by radiating love through my personality and of course, make lasting friendships and have FUN.
