Kimberleigh has been chosen to participate in an exchange program. She attends Bridge house college on a full bursary. She is currently in grade 9 and excels as an A+ student. I am her father and currently unemployed but looking for work. I have worked as a firefighter medic, and I am trying to give her all the support she needs.
She has a strong will to succeed and always has a positive outlook on life. Kim is passionate about the prospect of going to Canada. She also has French as an additional language. None of us in our family had the opportunity to travel to Canada. Everything she achieved so far in life is of her own accord. She applied for the bursary at Bridgehouse and was successful, that is why we as a family support her in every way.
She is a true ambassador to the people of our community coming from the Cape Flats.
