Jevyn Maroun,31, had a horrific motorbike accident on Bluff Road on 27 January, that has left him incapacitated lying in state hospital bed in Durban ever since, and without adequate treatment or the operation, he needs to repair his broken pelvis.
He has a ten year old daughter for whom he provides so he desperately needs this operation which will enable him to get out of bed and walk again. His employer does not offer any medical aid or insurance benefits so he is currently on unpaid sick leave and has no funds to pay for medical treatment.
If there is any kind-hearted benefactor who would be prepared to assist Jevyn with pro-bono medical care and a transfer to a private hospital where he can receive the care he needs, he would be most grateful. This would be the ideal situation if someone could step in to cover his medical costs. Or if you can make a donation, no matter how small (if R50 is donated by 14 000 people he will meet the target) he and his family would be forever grateful.
Thank you.
