Grateful Hearts Disability Centre was founded by 5 ladies, who saw a need of a center that caters for children with disabilities or delays. We are in the process of converting the building we have into a comfortable home for the kids that Will be joining us.
So far we have 2 kids under our care and we are eager to assist more kids as soon as we are done with the facility.
We Care for children who are diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Spectrum Disorder, Epilepsy, Down syndrome, Spina Bifida as well as other syndromes or are without a specific diagnosis.
We aim to promote and/or undertake activities which will improve or remove those physical, legal and psycho-social barriers which hinder the integration of persons with physical disabilities into the community through individual objectives determined for each child, we work toward improving every child’s functional prognosis and enhancing their potential to become a functional adult, able to contribute to society in a meaningful way.
We are asking for help so that we can purchase equipment needed to cater for the needs of these children. Through individual objectives determined for each child, we work toward improving every child’s functional prognosis and enhancing their potential to become a functional adult, able to contribute to society in a meaningful way. Through our integrated approach, which includes various interventions, a stimulating environment and caring and committed staff, we aim to enhance the quality of life for our children and their families.
We aim to ensure that every child, no matter their disability or their socioeconomic background have access to quality education and therapy. We believe that every child deserves the chance to reach their fullest potential.
