R0 of R250 000 raised

We all know the current state of affairs in South Africa, regarding work and BEE, cost of living and land expropriation, not to mention farm murders and our leaders singing songs with lyrics about killing white people. For those of you who don’t, it has been all over the news in several countries.

My husband and I did some research into UK immigration, and have discovered he qualifies for a UK Ancestral Visa. We have four children to think of and would like to give them a better future. That future is not in South Africa.

We have spoken to the necessary agency – 1st contact visa solutions and have obtained a quote of R176 000 inclusive of all the fees required to apply for the visas.

We require a further R7 800 for TB screening, and a further R150 000 in our account for 3 months, prior to us being able to apply.

Airfare will be in the region of R60 000.

Normally we would save up this money over the next year or 3 and then apply, but if we don’t submit our application before 04/11/2018 my husband’s daughter will not be able to travel with us on the ancestral visa, as she would be 18 years old. We will only be able to bring her over once we are settled in the UK, and possibly only once we have leave to remain, after being there for 5 years.

We don’t have time on our side and we don’t want to leave her behind.

Your contributions would be greatly appreciated.
