Irwin Animal Rescue Centre in Walkerville has been around for years. They house abandoned and homeless animals, rehabilitate the abused ones and re-home them. On 15 January 2018 staff was held up at gunpoint and they were robbed of dog food as well as their delivery vehicle, which was not insured.

This funding is to go towards the purchase of a new vehicle, without it, they cannot take animals to the vet, collect food and run other life-giving errands for these dogs.
