Mikey is a lucky cat who has 9 lives… However feline ways have got her into big trouble…
We are not sure what exactly happened or how she sustained injury… If only pets could talk! Mikey is only out during the day and never ventures far but at dinner time we noticed she was unable to walk properly and clearly in pain.
The vet advised that she ruptured the legaments in her back left knee and in order to make a full recovery she will require surgery, prescription diet and aftercare.
We will do whatever it takes to get her sorted but are unable to fund the entire surgery and aftercare alone. Any assistance would be incredibly helpful and so appreciated. Every little bit counts.
Mikey is currently being kept comfortable in a confined space, purring and awaiting the surgery. ETA is two weeks.
