I am starting this go fund me account for a friend in need, she has been sick and unemployed for a year, she had been let go due to her constant need to take off due to pain, she is currently on medical aid which is not covering her completely, she has been in and out of doctors’ offices and hospitals, she’s had one surgery so far to remove cysts, however they keep coming back. At this stage she is meant to be hospitalized on Valentine’s Day but cannot afford the treatment, her cover cost alone for one of the tests is R8000 which needless to say she cannot afford right now. She’s in debt due to this and she also has an almost 3-year-old girl that she’s struggling to take care of due to pain. The doctor has told her that she has more cysts in her ovaries that aren’t going away with medication, they suspect that she has more and an underlying illness causing these cysts of which she needs to be treated for. She is a loving caring person and a great friend of mine and she calls me day in and out in tears from pain and throwing up and not being able to do anything. Please, she needs help she’s been struggling for too long for it to be overlooked as it may become cancerous. I have set the bar at R25000 so that she can get all the treatment she needs as it should cover what the medical won’t. I’d like to see this lovely woman prosper and be able to work again!
