Hi, my name is Kgomotso Dijoe I’m a 21-year-old paraplegic. Who got in an accident in 2019. On my way home from the shop, I was still attending school at the time of the accident but ever since 2019 I have been at Helen Joseph hospital for almost two and a half years, with no improvements they said that nothing is wrong with my spine they were not even sure if it was T5 injury or T6.
Now I’m 21 years old I am trying to do a learnership programme at SDC. But it’s really hard for me with a colostomy bag and I were nipples but that’s not the worst part people make fun of me most of the time, at times I wish I didn’t survive to live like this.
I am writing to your organisation because I am really need of a spinal cord implant simulator it’s a long shot but 80% of the people end up walking again so please can your organisation help me out with the surgery costs because I can’t depend on my grandparents to help me because both parents of mine have passed on.
Can you please help me out??
