Paws from Heaven
Paws from Heaven is the only feline sanctuary in South Africa that doesn’t aim to place cats in homes but opens its doors and gives each cat a forever home. Paws turns nobody away. Whether the cat is lost, abandoned, feral or on death row, Shuveny brings them in, rehabilitates them and integrates them into the colony where they have an opportunity to live the rest of their loves in a wonderful environment that guarantees safety, food, love and medical care.
Paws receives no funding and is responsible for all the costs involved in taking care of the current 36 cats and any others that will come through the door in future.
Any donations would be welcome and will go towards ensuring that the cats are well fed and have access to vets whenever necessary. We currently have a paraplegic cat to rehabilitate and this alone is responsible for astronomical vet’s bills.
