Our Parish has got a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, and I signed up for this trip. Our trip is scheduled for the 01/06/17 for our Parish, and 01/07/18 for another parish. I have my heart set on this trip, and it would be a 50th birthday present to myself. I have raised funds, together with two other pilgrims, to pay our deposits and our Domestic flights. Further fundraising fell through the mat, because of people not participating in it. With this recession, people hardly have money.
Time is getting closer, and I really do not want to give up on it. We really want to go on this trip, because we want to enrich ourselves spiritually and to go and pray for my family, friends and fellow workers. We are not financially stable and are battling get the balance of our money together to pay for our trip.
