All over South Africa we have huge potential for recycling, but now I’m a small person with a vision to make a difference!
I’m busy constructing an extruder to produce refined plastic into a final product. My obstacle is financing the shredder made from stainless steel. This shredder will be able to chip up and sort various plastics from plastic bottle, milk bottles, coke bottles, plastic bags, old plastic toys, into colour or plastic variety and can be put into the extruder to create an end product.
There are many things that can be made ranging from “plastic wood”, multi coloured bowls, cutlery, coasters paving bricks (never go mouldy and easy to clean), plastic bricks, but I’m sure that puts a good picture in your mind!
Please spare what you can and no amount is to small!, but when we done with the plastic it will be small pieces.
