I was born with cerebral palsy in 1991 and is fully dependable on my mother to care for me. My father has been a paraplegic since 2013, with AVM anomaly in his lower spine. My small brother was born in 1996. In February 2017, he was diagnosed with a tumour on the brain, which was removed, and it has left him with disabilities. My mother is supporting us all on her own, there is no help. She takes care of everything in and around the house. She mows the lawn, keeps the house and yard clean. We have no electricity, so she washes everything by hand. Our only income is the grants we get monthly.
I can can’t walk, sit up straight to bath, or go to the toilet. I need 24/7 care. I constantly need help, because I cannot speak either, so I communicate on FB and email. We need money for better housing with power, hot water and for food. My father is in nappies and has bed sores, so the money will help with that as well.
