RASCAL THE CHAMP – GOAL R 15 000
On Friday afternoon, 06/09/2019 my Cat Rascal came home injured. At first we thought it was just a cat fight but on Saturday morning when she cried continuously and she could not move her right leg I knew something was seriously wrong.
I had to phone a friend to take me to the Vet as I don’t have a car. The Vet examined her and told me he will take x-rays and I need to come back in a hour… one of the longest hours I have ever experienced.
When I went back the vet told me that Rascal was shot with a pellet gun. I have never felt so devastated. I am a single mom with a unemployed son. I live with my sister and have no transport. I am trying my best to make ends meet but I will rather go without food than let my cat suffer, operation was scheduled for Monday the 09/09/19. The vet called me after operation and informed me that she was not only shot with a pellet gun, but also with a .22 rifle. Her right leg is fractured and pins was put into place.
I have opened a case at the SAPS Kabega Park and currently waiting for case no and investigation officer to contact me.
Any donations even a R50 will help towards the costs to have Rascal back on her feet.
Thanking you in advance.
