I am a 17-year-old pupil, in grade 11 (standard 9) at the Greytown High school. I have an extraordinary love for rugby. This year I have been selected to play for the school’s first team, even though my position (flank) consists of seniors, which have first-team experience playing the position. I have played every pre-season game that we have played so far. Prior to being on the first team, we have a first team rugby tour that only a limited squad of 25 players can go on, I was selected to be one of them.
In order to attend this tour, I need to pay R4 500 for my accommodation, kit, food and sports equipment that will be needed. I posted my story on this website in hopes of raising these funds so that I can take part in this wonderful opportunity that I have been gifted.
