Bonteheuwel like many working class neighbourhoods are impoverished and crime ridden. So much so that our families and children are afraid to go about their normal daily lives.
Our aims with our Block Committees Christopher Truter Football and Coline Williams Netball Tournaments is to build social cohesion and take back our streets and recreational spaces from the bad elements in our community, where our children and families can feel safe and show case their talents.
