It started with a whisper back in 2007, the whisper being: Called to Ministry. I had no idea how this God design and God idea would unfold in my life, or what part I would play, or what my purpose really was. (Granted, I was 17 at the time) I wholeheartedly believe that I have always known deep within my soul, but not fully grasped the Calling of God in my life in a Ministry/ Church setting. As the years past by – I had a deeper understanding of my “Lane”, getting involved with many different organisations throughout Gauteng, spreading the Gospel to Prostitutes on Friday nights after youth, to feeding the hungry, to building Church, giving Hope to Vulnerable Youths and Woman of Johannesburg,
Part of the Whisper that had caught my Heart and Soul back in 2007 was that of Attending Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney Australia. Earlier this year in September, I took a huge leap of faith and I applied for Hillsong International Leadership College In Sydney Australia and I am hugely excited to share that I have been accepted to Hillsong International Leadership College for July 2018. (The Course I will be doing is: A 3 Year Advanced Diploma in Pastoral Leadership – Youth and Young Adults) I have the greatest Honour and Opportunity to be serving alongside Ps Brian Houston’s Daughter (Ps Laura Toggs and her husband Peter Toggs) Let alone, without a doubt – this is an opportunity of a lifetime for me) and I believe that God has placed an open door in my life for a reason and a purpose – and it is one that I am most certainly going to walk boldly through.
It is time to explore, it’s time to Step through the wide open door, that God has opened for me.
One thing we both know is that Sydney is expensive, and currently I am still in need of about AUD 7000 (About R80,000) For those of you that are reading this and have felt stirred in your heart or wish to contribute financially (Be it a small amount or a large amount, every little bit helps) towards this Life Changing Opportunity, of me attending Hillsong International Leadership College – it would be simply incredible.
