Every year I take some time and money and buy a few Christmas goodies for people in squatter camps, and on the streets. This year I decided to do the same, just through an easier funding platform. Every year I purchase food, snacks and sometimes presents (depending on funds), and hand them to these less fortunate people. Every R20 ($1.50) donated = 1 food parcel per person. This will consist of a sandwich, cold drink/juice, a chocolate and a packet of chips.
The additional money will go towards a gift-wrapped present, something that might be useful to people living on the streets and in squatter-camps. Things such as (blankets, pillows, fire making gear, canned foods, etc). The little kids will get some toys. All the gifts will be delivered 1 week before Christmas 2018, every year I take pictures, videos, and save all purchases slips for anyone who requires to see how the funds were spent. We are all so blessed and have everything we need and more. Any donation would be appreciated from the bottom of my heart, and those who will be receiving food and gifts.
