My name is Sibulele Ntlebi. I am currently studying social work at the University of Western Cape. I live with my unemployed Grandmother, because both my parents are deceased. My grandmother struggles to take care of me and four younger cousins. I owe the University a lot of money, as a result, I didn’t get my results for the year 2017, so I couldn’t apply for any bursaries for the year 2018.
Last year I didn’t get funding due to NSFAS corruption, my granny had to send me grocery money, but sometimes I would go to bed on an empty stomach because she also had to pay rent and feed my cousins. I am deeply in need of help, as I want to pay the University, so I can get my results and try applying for bursaries, and feed myself.
