I am basically A Pastor or A Minister of The Word of God at FULL GOSPEL CHURCH OF GOD (CITY OF PRAISE THABONG WELKOM). Many times I encounter challenges of congregation who always seek for help(Food, Money, clothes etc).
It’s heartbreaking especially as a Pastor to see such things happening to your congregation because honestly they are a family to me so helping them is what is it in my hear. Actually I feel that its my duty to help them where I can.
Whenever I visit their families doing my visits of Evangelism, it is really heartbreaking to see that they lack so much. You find that they don’t have food to give to their children, some are children who don’t have parents and are not working.
As I always sometimes have the One on One conversation in reaching out on how they are doing in their lives,some they even have depression and they’ve got no ones to can talk to but I have initiated to reach out on them.
My family with what we have we try to help where we can and we don’t even want the congregation to know because some they feel ashamed especially when the members of the church knows they are being helped by the Pastor.
This past few days I was talking to Youth Members that we should start having a Vegetable garden so that church members and community at large may be helped.
Giving has to be in our hearts. I don’t wanna see any Spiritual being or Human being goes to bed with hunger on not having anything to eat. I Hope that help will be found in raising funds to help our community…
My wife works at An Organization where they plant vegetables so some other days she will come with those vegetables so that we can go give to those vulnerable families…
I so much believe in God that people will be helped.
